Dingo Beach
A fifty kilometre drive north of Airlie Beach is Dingo Beach.
Dingo Beach is a small settlement off the beaten track.
When we visited, it was low tide.
Plenty of pools to investigate.
But there was still lots of sand to walk along and explore.
The drive to and from Dingo Beach was largely through sugarcane country.
Mount RooperEleven kilometres from Airlie Beach is Mount Rooper which provides views of the surrounding area.
From the carpark there is a path that takes you to the top of Mount Rooper.
When you arrive at the top there are more views of the sea.
Mount Rooper provides another perspective on this beautiful area.
