Hawaii - Waikiki

The hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach which is the major feature of Waikiki.

Surfing is a major theme with a number of statues highlighting this activity along the foreshore.

This is a patrolled beach with sections where people can swim safely in a protected area plus sections for surfers and other water sports.
Walking along the foreshore provides a view through the trees of hotels and shopping complexes. Surfboards, canoes and other items are available for hire.
By the footpath there is a variety of colourful trees and plants, often near rock pools or small waterfalls.
Early evening the beach is popular with visitors as they gather to watch the sunset.
