The final county game for the tour was held against Surrey at Horsley and Send Cricket Club at West Horsley.
This was the only ground during the tour that advertised their next game as being against Australia.
Australia batted first and were 9 for 204 at the end of the 45 overs. Surrey was then bowled out for 137 in 36 overs. Bruce Pooley and Phil Smith both took five wickets - a great performance.
Robin did not play in this game but took time out for an exercise break.

The weather was a little cool so all spectators were rugged up.

Towards the end of the afternoon the under 10s played cricket on the other oval so there was a contrast in the ages of those playing cricket that day.
Thank you to Ian Gibson for these photos.
During the game I explored the area near the ground walking initially along a country lane and then streets with lots of houses to West Horsley. During the walk I saw the West Horsley Village Hall
and two pubs - the King William IV and the Barley Mow. Both of these establishments appeared to be busy and I was later told are traditional community pubs being in operation for many years. The King William IV dates back to the 1830 while there has been an ale house on the site of the Barley Mow since 1596.
In the afternoon I went for a walk in a different direction along a country lane with fields on either side.
