Port Douglas at election time

The Federal Elections were held during our holiday at Port Douglas in 2010. We had cast postal votes before leaving home but were interested to witness voting in Far North Queensland.

Community groups took the opportunity to promote services and raise funds for activities

creating a carnival atmosphere.
