Port Douglas by air

In 2008 we took a helicopter ride over Port Douglas and surrounding area.
We soon left the land behind and flew over the sea.
The outline of the reef could be clearly seen from the helicopter.
The Low Isles could be clearly seen.
Then back over land
before returning to the landing pad.
Although it was an interesting experience, sitting behind the pilot on this trip provided a limited view as the pilot favoured the view on the other side of the craft and I could not see through the front window - but the two other passengers had a good view.
