North Wales

On Saturday 18 July we left our hotel in Liverpool to travel to the Ramada Hotel in Wrexham in Wales. Instead of travelling directly from one hotel to another we first went for a scenic drive through the mountainous country of North Wales.
Part of the drive included a route along the coast of North Wales to Conwyn Bay. From there we travelled to Betws-y-coed.
We walked through the park until we came to the river.
It was a pretty little town.
We then continued the drive through the mountains and small towns.
Llangollan was a larger town that we drove through on the way to Wrexham.
We had another short stop to view the countryside before concluding our drive.
Slate is mined in this area.
During the day we had travelled through some beautiful and varied countryside in North Wales.
