Leeds

Saturday 6 August
This day was largely devoted to cricket. Drove to Harrogate to watch Ross play cricket and then to Pudsey to catch up with Adam. The weather was very cold with rain from time to time so we saw a fair bit of covers coming on and off the field, especially in the morning. Both games, however, were completed.
The Harrogate Cricket Club was founded in 1877. The day after we were there the new clubrooms were to be opened.
The Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club was founded in 1845 and former players include Sir Leonard Hutton.
We stayed at Bradford overnight.
